Very nice pics. Were they all taken in one day?

You should put the pic of the TVR in the spotted TVRs forum, you might find the owner.

Nice pics. I'm pleased to say, thats a very average day in London. Never ceases to amaze me the tackle that can be seen in this city.

Any ideas where the QTR90000 plate is from? And the Mustang, is that on diplomatic plates?

Thanks for the replys guys. No, I dont use flickr, I use tinypic. I love the cars in London, ALL OF THEM and that numberplate you asked about was from Iraq. I asked him. Nice bloke actually. His m8 had a brand new Flying Spur. They have both nailed life so deserve them awsome cars.

Thanks,

Olie

You sure he said Iraq? only because QTR suggests Qatar and the small writing on the plate also says the dealership is in Qatar. smile

What type of plate is on the Saleen Mustang? Last time I was in London I saw quite a few of these, and I dunno what they are confused

Can somebody inform me why so many diplomats seem to be young and have exotica and are in London ?

The only 'diplomats' I knew were the sons of Gaddafi.. They were *not* diplomats biggrin

Jon,

Did your exposure to Carlo's CGT cement your desire for one?? One went past me yesterday on Rodeo Drive - I heard it (my GOD I heard it!) - but missed seeing it...damn..still yet to see one in the flesh.

Hi Darren

What you don't appreciate until you see the car is the build quality and attention to detail . The lines of the car don't picture well , but in person are cloud9

I love the car in Black , but feel it would maybe hide the contrast between the car and carbon. Cobalt Blue for me would be perfect , but rarer still . Maybe worth buying a GT Silver car and considering a Paul Bailey style respray

Out in the car , it's distinctively quiet until under load where it's purely orchestral . The SuperL is a different beast , louder - not as refined

Traffic was against us, and our usual route dubbed the 'city airport raceway' was closed due to a triathlon. When the car was opened up , boy did it shift. Speaking to Carlo , there's a definite knack to the pull away with the clutch. Can't see how you can do a fast start in one. Clutch/1st gear engagement sounds fairly industrial .. Is it a carbon clutch ?

It was a baking hot day and Carlo gave it 60% throttle in 2nd gear and the wheels span and the back end stepped out. Not a car for the faint hearted !!!!!!

As our normal test route was closed , and the traffic wasn't ideal we decided to meet up again when Carlo could get a real drive in the SuperL and vice versa

My end thoughts were the likes of the SuperL are undoubtably quicker 75% of the time due to the ease of driving ... The Carrera GT on the otherhand is a car to learn , a car to respect and ultimately a car which will hold your attention for a lot longer. It's obviously a good couple of levels above the SuperL and the service costs reflect that. Starting to think a US car isn't a great idea , Carlo's example of Porsche Reading replacing the front 3 radiators outside of warranty (12k redfaceuchsmile shows any relative saves would quickly be lost due to reduced goodwill from Porsche GT

What other true Hypercar can you buy for around 200k which prices have stables, offers better build quality and same performance to an Enzo ?

For me it's Atom 300, Race License, Lots of tuition then CGT

I had a look at this car today, parked in the middle of the road outside Harrods - no care in the world/no front plate

Anyway the colour combination is far worse in real life and even during day the red reflects off the inside of the windscreen, at night it must be really bad

I really think you ought to blank out the number plates, especially if you don't have permission from the cars' owners, which I'm guessing you don't since you were just wandering around taking pictures.
