Just got back from lunch at the Mail Box, and stopped off at Lambo Brum.

They have an EB110SS in at the mo. Upgraded by Dauer Engineering to 610bhp. 8000 miles. I think Dom said is was a 1994 build. Sweetest one I've ever seen.

It's also the only RHD car ever built.

And the price for this piece of thermonuclear hardware?

£350,000.

Bloody bargain if you ask me.

Didn't have my camera unfortunately but well worth a look.

In the pre Veyron days Jethro Bovingdon said the Dauer EB110 was the only car he had ever seen absolutely destroy an Enzo in a straight line.

I thought Jochen Dauer only dealt with Porsches? Oh well, never mind.

only a handful of them exist. dauer bought a lot of stuff in the EB110 fire sale & rebodied them in carbonfibre & tuned them. EVO tested one in issue 78 if my memory serves me.

they are pretty much my dream car. saw a white one with black wheels years ago & it was love at 1st sight.

i saw one of these amazing machines in monaco about 2 or 3 years ago and it was a carbon body one with red leather i also met dauer really nice guy and was happy to talk about the car he even told the valet parking guy to go back to his hotel to get a brochure out of the car to bring it to me lol.

i still have that somewere now he told me there was 5 in excistance and they had all been sold but he was meeting a japanese buissness man to sell the last one and he was going to buy the car hopefully. the car is a work of art you have to see it to believe it the devil is certainly in the detailing and the engine is just a masterpiece 645bhp WOW!

The chap that owns Hard To Find Records I believe.

And they say vinyl is a dead medium smile

Lovely car and far more exclusive than the Veyron in my eyes - especially in this uprated form.
Schumi has one of these too doesn't he?

Hi guys,

I was fortunate enough to do some miles in one of the Dauer EB110SS, the one that featured in EVO.
This was easily the most outrageous car I have ever driven, because up to about 3500 rpm, it just felt quick, but from then on, the 4, yes 4 sequential turbos came online and just hurled you at the horizon, but with permanent four wheel drive, you could really use it, for despite its speed, it was very forgiving.
The only other car that got close in performance terms was a TWR prepped XJ220S, but that was nowhere near as usable.

Great car.

Cheers,

Ruttboy.

P.S. Good to see you well on the mend now Mike.
Warm regards,

See you soon.

Back in his early days Michael Schumacher went from his Ford Escort to this Bugatti. Apparently he noticed the difference in performance hehe

Just don't mention the interior!

ps

Blue is the best. My mate has a stunning model in that hue.

Your "Dream car", if I remember correctly?

Being a child in the 90's, whenever someone says the word "Supercar", I immediately think of the 355, Diablo and this. I can remember being about 8 years' old and seeing the EB110 for the first time (in blue, no less) on "The World of Supercars" - VHS that my parents bought me. Utterly intoxicating - the stuff of dreams.
