Looking at used 360's, seen a couple of cars with black leather and red carpets (and red stiching on the seats) I know I shoudl go see for myself, but any opinions on this combo (on red cars)

Cheers.

I have black with red carpets and black stitching and it looks great with rosso exterior. It makes it feel "special" inside. I would have gone for a creme but after 7 years it doesnt look quite as good! Also with the red stitching I imagine reconnollisation (if and when you will eventually need it) would be pretty challenging.

Classic combo, black seats with red carpets ... you will find very few Italian cars with the crema leather, mainly a UK thing.

Red/Black is more sporting, and, if you need to re-colour the seats in years to come, simply dye the stitching black smile

My 430 is Red with Black Daytona and Bordeaux Carpets, and it looks the business. Haven't worked out how to upload photos, but I can e-mail a photo if you want to see it!

If I was in the position to spec a 430, it would be my number one choice

Looks great!

Ferrari manage to pull off combos that sound iffy and would look hideous on other cars IMO. Black/burgundy/crema was something I would never have chosen in a million years, but it was sooooo good on a 355 that I wouldn't have one any other way in future.

I'm sure the combo you note will look good.

Verdis are Ferrari specialists, with Masers and Lambos going in and out of there too. They wouldn't be the first place most people would go for a 996TT, hence it could end up being a hassle for them to sell it on. As a result, I guess they'd rather not take it, and I suspect if they do you may not be overly chuffed with the offer as they'll almost certainly be trading it out to another dealer. Also, the 360 could easily be on SoR which changes the dynamic again.

I don't think this is so unusual - when I bought my 355 I chopped the R500 in for it and the same thing happened. And that was at a main dealer (oh if only I'd known). Had I been sensible I'd have sold the R500 myself (and not gone near a main dealer in the first place). But sense rarely comes into Ferrari buying.

FWIW Verdis are very good guys IME. The only downside with this is that they are pretty much always very busy, so communication can be a little...sporadic, and you need to book ahead. Still wouldn't have anyone else look after my F-car though.

Thanks mrs triple, will see what price they come back with on my 996 TT.
Its done 35k miles, a bit more than I would want but figure I only now put 5k on my cars a year so not a problem.

Ahh no worries. I like the spec (19" Stradale wheels / tubi / latest F1 software) so let's see what happens.

Cheers !
