Well given that the LP640 can only be a max. of 1.5yrs old, 8000 miles is a rather out-of-the-ordinary mileage for one of these. That would suggest it's either a rental car, from a supercar company (P1?) or has been Gumballed.

Go onto Youtube, type LP640 Gumball into the search engine and see if it shows up. If not surely they can tell you who the previous owners were, by looking at the V5?

If you find that out you should be able to do some digging...

if you do a nationwide search on autotrader you will find a grey 6K mile LP being advertised by swift hire limited for 206K.

206K for a ex rental LP? Not in this lifetime!!!!

Caveat emptor!!

TBH given that theres no real saving to be had on a used LP at the moment i would put in a factory order and sit on your hands for a few months. the way the stockmarket and credit market is going might be a few cancelled build slots coming up smile

Definitely not ex P1. They don't have an LP640 (or they have been hiding it from me!)

Didn't it belong to that bloke called 'Polish Adam'? Does the 'Carbon Black' rally thingy. Abso-ing-lutely hammers every car he gets his hands on.

Video

There is another video of him narrowly missing a head on and absolutely thrashing it on UK roads. Will try and dig it out.

Of course, I could be completely wrong.

As a clue the Carbon Black one was black and had a Capristo Exhaust and was later for sale at Hudsons

The rental one that crashed was “Dragon Green”

When you say grey are you talking about the “military grey” – Grigo Telesto
Like this? http://exoticspotter.com/list.php?page=0&batch...

I also notice that Tom Hartley are now selling the 06 200 miles Verde Draco car that was for sale at Lambo London a few weeks ago

Is that not Iain Wright that was driving that.

If a car is coming out of Lambo London then it's most likely not goa bad history.

Gumball cars are not a big issue, I mean they drive them fast and wreckless but a car needs to through a warrnty check so it would show up then if there has been a problem.

I would say thata crashed car will not go via LL and I'd be very surprised if it did.

Paul I'm not sure thats really true
Just because you know of an ex-Gumball car which is completely fine doesn't mean the rest are

I mean how about that Ferrari 430 which was brand new and the guy managed to break the clutch and transmission on the way to Spain - would you want a car that had been driven like that?

That's a ferrari for ya Doug, you of all people should be well aware of the poorer than Lambo build quality from little luigi!! hehe

If it was repaired how would I know?

The thing is Doug unless it's brand new there is NO GUARANTEES! It's called life mate and for some who aren't that rich they have to buy used for certain models, it's just the way it is fella.

Is it the grey one here: http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/topmarques/cars_s...

Not sure I'd want an ex hire one (especially from a hire company that I've never heard of)

That WILL of been ragged to bits

if its is, its gained 2k miles (very possible) and £10k in price (cheeky gits!)
