Maserati Recalls 718 Quattroportes

Quattroporte Automatics have a traction control fault

We don't want to see one of these in a hedge now, do we?

Have you bought a new Maserati Quattroporte Automatic? If you have, it might be a good idea to have it looked at because Maserati are recalling 718 of them.

Maserati has found a fault in their traction and stability control’s low voltage threshold that causes them both to shut down when they think the battery is low.

The problem doesn’t affect the anti-lock brakes, which should continue to work as normal.

718 doesn’t seem like a huge number, but for such an expensive car it could be all of them…

Italian cars? Unreliable?..........

So?? concidering they seem to be almost part Ferrari, expect issues with them as well. And I bet it doesnt cost as much to fix as a 4 mile max lambo clutch !

This story is so lame, just look at all the recalls Mercedes has had for example.

I would have thought the loss of traction control and Stability control would be a good thing.

But hey, i don't pay for your tyres!!
