Guys,

Lots of owners doing this mod in the USA - supposedly involves some slight internal bodywork mods and a change in the plug connector into the harness - but not rocket science.

Anyone done this or contemplating the change? anyone got any prices on a pair of rear LP640 lights??

The rear lights are the best mod on the LP640 in my opinion and I'd love to put them on my Murcie - the only bit of which I don't love is.....the rear lights!

Come on then let's get some then - I'm sure they are half the price in USA - I seem to recall reading $890 each - so call it for £900 a pair.

My mate scud just did this mod to his 03 Murci (along with new titanium wheels). The rear light set improves the look of the car out of all proportion to the cost of the upgrade. It is so easy and so effective. smile

www.eurospares.co.uk and I think his name was Steve but can't remember, TBH I just asked him to do me a deal on them and he said it was around 800 IIRC but who knows if that was a deal or not, worth a phone call I guess.

Sure you'd get a fair price back for your old lights on Ebay too when you're done so makes the mod even cheaper.

ONLY on Pistonheads would you get someone moaning that their Lamborghini looks wrong.

FFS.

I'll take it off you for 200 sheets, a massive p0rn DVD collection and an eight year old 996 Carrera, which has nice rear lights...............

hehe

Edited to say pistonheads.com - JEALOUSY hurts.......

Should have talked to Europspares - they seem to have a demand for them?
