Am thinking of switiching to Kenwood touch screeen with - all the usual bits + video ipod, dvd etc.
Can always switch it back when time to sell.
Thoughts - anyone done it?

We had a thread on this a while ago. From memory, the concensus was that the Kenwood sat nav is not that good and that the Alpine was better. I think you will also need new speakers cos they too are crap.
Whilst on the subject, can you retro fit the factory system? I saw a Gallardo at the GT3 meet at Brands with an Audi unit installed, which is, i assume, the same. What's the cost?

Maybe but this Kenwood touchscreen unit is miles ahead of what Alpine have right now. I believe its what lambo fit in the merc's.

go for the pioneer avic d3 bluetooth

got sat nav, mp3, cd, dvd, bluetooth telephone, touchscreen, u can change screen colours and background image and best of all u can add a rear reversing camera.. simply the best in aftermarket stero options
