I noticed while doing insurance quotes that most state the vehicle can only be up to 100,000 pounds. So I take it you need to take out a special policy if your car is more than this?? Also how much is it to insure the beautiful cars(i.e. ones that are valued at over 100K) you have??

Not really special insurance but an understanding broker

A lot of guys (and girls ) on here use these guys http://www.michaelwardassociates.com/ I have Chubb Masterpiece Policy through them and its ace.

Second that one! They insured my rs4 first and I have just taken out an amazingly priced policy on the ferrari with them! Ian is also top class ;-)

And third'd too!! Agreed value on the CGT, no issues and less than half the premium I was expecting!! Good stuff!!
