Don't know if they have any space for the Grand Prix but I always stay at the Columbus, part owned by David Coutard, very good hotel.

Monaco hotels are never cheap at the best of times, but the GP for them is like Xmas! The place will be crowded and you will not be able to drive your car during this time. Best to keep it at home and just fly out. £600-£700 per night doesnt actually sound too bad for the GP weekend

Can vouch for the Meridian Beach Plaza but I can imagine it's also rammed at G.P. time!!

Can`t move in monaco gp weekend, best stay outside and drive in at night, i usually stay in vil franche and get the train into monaco on race day, only takes 15 mins.
Were ever you stay book early, it`s the best weekend of the year for me biggrin

Columbus Hotel owned by Mr Couthard is nice and not too expensive. I am guessing its already booked up already though. Driving in Monaco is a nightmare around race week as well.

There are some nice hotels in a place called Eze (in hills above Monaco). hotel Les Terrasses D'Eze is cheap, has amazing views and parking.

Good luck.

Eze isn't in the hills above Monaco, it's about 10 km west on the moyenne corniche (if you're talking about Eze Village) or on the basse corniche if you're talking about Eze sur Mer.

You're best off finding a hotel along the coast and taking the train into Monaco each day for the race - the trains run frequently and it's about €4 return. Have a look at Eze sur Mer, Beaulieu, Villefranche, Menton, or even Nice or Antibes.

The problem is, the Cannes film festival is usually on at the same time, so finding a hotel is doubly hard.

We stayed at the Mirabeau, fantastic hotel and they have their own mini grandstand that overlooks the bends and tunnel entrance. Not sure about costs though.
They also have their own underground parking!

well done im jelous,, you can watch the grand prix from a great distance at the top of the hill where prince alberts palace is but you cant see much best to get a grandstand ticket and enjoy all the action close up monaco is the closest you can get to an f1 car racing in a gp

Indeed, finding a hotel for under 450euros is nigh on impossible at anytime let alone when the GP is on. I'd definitely stay out of town, much cheaper and another excuse to drive that car on some of the awesome roads down that way.
