Producers are looking for the 'coolest' car possible for static use in a music video for an award-winning UK artist. Ideally something bright as the shoot is taking place at night (but the production company are seriously last-minute here so they'll 'make do' with what is available).

The shoot is in Hoxton and the car is likely to be needed for around 2 hours, from 21:00. The treatment has the artist sat in the car with the door open, singing to camera, so I'd suggest a Diablo/Murci/LP640 is best suited. There's no fee available, just the glamour of the event and as much weak coffee as you can drink.

Drop me a line (darren at FB5K dot com) if you're interested.

Probably a rap artist? hehe

Not sure any other genre would call for a specific car type? Unless the artist was really into cars...

True. Although it could be an RnB artist too.

If it was Kano then that would be cool. But I bet it is someone like Jason Donavon trying to make a comeback vid lol!

Agreed, would be surprised if it was Kano though, not really his style.

Could always be a US artist (Ref 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake driving around London in an Exige and DB9)

I'd rather not say on the forum, but it is a rap artist. Not Kano, but not a million miles away either.

Lol 50 would have a budget for a car, so would any other US artist. I'm on another forum where there is a member who had his car used in one of 50's recent vids and he got paid.

Miyagi, I think he got a couple of thousend Dollars... he also got slated by half the board for doing a rap video:-). Not into this grime stuff but if its a UK rapper I am happy to help the cause, my car is black though.

Thought it was $5,000 could be wrong?

Lol @ him getting slated, well.....he could have picked a better artist to work with!

I'm not a grime fan either but I guess we need to support our own artists....

I can see your trip to the US has taught you some biz acumen! If you are busy I can take the SL down for you, do your part to encourage UK talent! or ill make you pay for it at the bar!

Could have supplied an orange Diablo, but as I've just SORNed it for the winter, you'd have to pay all transporter costs.
