As winter is fast approaching I was wondering what you guys did with your cars?

I don't plan to drive mine too much really as I have other more suitable cars.

Plus I hear the salt on the road is particularly bad for exotics.

So just interested.

Move to warmer places.

The Gallardo is great fun in the snow and ice

If we get any snow you should take it out on that day

There was a great photo on here last time it snowed of a G out in the thick of it. Who's was it? I think it was blue with a big go-faster stripe.

I remember the photo. It was particularly amusing as there was a 'for sale' board in the background that looked like the orange and yellow striped flag used in motor racing to indicate a slippery surface hehe

I'll still be using my G on a daily basis, irrespective of the weather. If i had another car to commute, i'd never use the G..

I'll second that ...

Give it a really good wax before winter sets in, or get one of the Zymol guys to do it, then washing the muck off is easier. Just make sure you give the underside a good hose down to get rid of any salt that may be there.

Exotics are far better when it comes to corrosion proofing these days and in theory should be no different to using any other car.

I'm suprised so many people plan to use theirs for the winter. cool

I think I will still have mine away for most of the time but I will take it out a few times and see what it is like.
