Just thought it merits a mention in the forum...

Have had some issues with my recently acquired Gransport. Mechanical problems seem now to be sorted (seems the ECU had some sort of brain fart just 2 weeks from delivery...) but in the course of the inspection of the car other issues have arised, which do question the integrity of the official dealership which sold the car to me (former car of the Maserati GB press fleet, BTW). I have my solicitors looking into it.

Until I do get all the facts laid-down on the table (although I now have plenty of hard-based evidence) I will not comment and/or mention anything about the dealer in question (to avoid flaming) but what I would like to commend is the Maserati GB attitude.

After several days of frustrating exchanges with the dealer in question, decided to approach Maserati GB directly over the phone. After a very nice 20 min conversation with Paul Green, Customer Support Manager for Maserati GB, he took due note and in no-time (just a couple of hours) the problem was solved by them. Finito.

My commendation goes to Paul Green of course, but it is refreshing to see the attitude of Maserati GB towards user complaints, even when the problem involves one of their official dealers and not them directly. Reinforces your trust in the brand and in the support they provide, should the unexpected arise. Also, they have been extremely helpful in assisting Joe Macari Servicing to deal with the ECU issues; it took the best of 2 weeks (or slightly more) to sort-out what was going on, and they facilitated the exchanges with factory on the diagnosis and work that needed to be done to solve the problem.

I know sometimes they (Maserati GB) have been flamed in here, but when they get things right, is also worth mentioning.

Also Joe Macari has done a very good job, provided great customer care (thanks Natalie!) now becoming a new servicing option for those in or around London (bye-bye you know who...) Hope they don't spoil it.

It's that kind of comment which makes me more likely to buy a masser! After deplorable customer service from Audi dealerships & Audi UK it's refreshing.
