Did anyone trash their Murci's engine last night?

My VX's radiator just went pop and the breakdown guy was telling me a horrible story. Apparantly he went to a call last night to find a guy at the side of the road (central London) with his head in his hands next to his Murci. The bloke had gone to the petrol station earlier on and filled it with lead replacement fuel by mistake. Without realising he then went out for a bit of a thrash and managed to completely knacker the engine.

If it's true I'm really sorry to hear it. If it's not, well I'll give the guy a slap if I see him again.
