There is always a chance someone will have the better day... Not long after the GT40s came down the track... the Porshce 917 did it faster and better... fast forward and you have the Mazda 787B (still holds records). It would seem Ferrari put the money in F1, Lotus just plain threw away money after colin died, Porsche stayed in the sport car race games (still winning), and so on...

I'd personally like to see Ferrari (still in GT), Lotus, and Bugatti get it on again with Porsche in a series like the CanAm used to be... Ahhh the glory days!

It's really wonderful to compare those two. The P Ferrari's are delicate works of art while the MK-IV is a very fast hammer. Those were very special days.
