I am seriously considering buying a Lamborghini Diablo, one of the early 2wd models.

Can anyone give me a few pointers on things to look out for, eg. eingine, gear box, cluches etc?

Thanks in advance

My first port of call would be here - http://www.topgear-cars.co.uk/

Carlo at top gear knows anything and everything you need to know about diablos. He also only has quality cars in stock and if your looking for a certain color combo, if anyone can get it he can! Other then that just the obvious. Make sure its got full service history. Check for how long ago the clutch was replaced which would give you an idea if it may need it again soon smile Other then that happy hunting it's an amazing car!

Yes the red one looks fantastic and seems to be a very good car.

You can be sure any with him are in tip top shape at the very least! Let us know how the search goes as they are so special there's alot of knowledge here and even a chance that you'll be buying an ex ph'ers car wink

Saw the car real life a few times and you have to stick with the roadster wheel due to the brake conversion. Have been dealing with Carlo for years and a really nice guy....got 2 f-cars from him, my last diablo and now the murci I'm driving......Top bloke thumbup

Try Dion at Elms Collection, he has helped many buyers find the lambos they are looking for, if you have a particular color etc preference it may take time but if it's out there he will find it.
