Hi guys, been reading posts on here for a while and found some great info. Last week I changed my V8 Vantage for a 430 Spider and really wondered if any other owners could advise on tips in the first few weeks/months of Ferrari ownership in terms of key things to keep an eye on....its a 55 plate with 7k (sorry its red) and I would appreciate any info.
Cheers

When I bought mine the salesman advised not to use the launch control. Apparently 4 goes and you need a new clutch weeping

Thank you for that, Havent had a chance to take too many pics been too busy driving it, will take some interior shots and post them. Basically F1 Box, Cream elec seats, red carpets, yellow rev counter and the most complicated Pionneer after-fit with reverse camera, nav, phone and ipod...if anyone on here owned this before me id love some advice on how to use it!! It sits next to my 1997 993 targa (115k miles) and just dwarfs it and i am totally overwhelmed by it if im honest.

Cheers for the replies and the welcome, will report on my first few weeks of Ferrari driving shortly. First impressions are a bit clouded by the cheer sense of occasion every time I get in it.

Nice car.

I assume you meant your 1987 993?

Thanks Davey, but I meant 1997, one of the last tiptronic targa s's made...have covered 115k miles since new, apart from a recent alloy refurb (split rims on the targa are a nightmare) couple of minor oil leaks and a new door strap it is as new and its one car that is staying in the family.
