New prestige car finance site.........
Discussion
Good eveing everyone.
Just a little introduction to say thanks everyone for supporting our new venture, and you will be happy to know that our new Prestige Sports Car Finance site is back up and fully functioning and will now remain up until the next release.
The site at the moment features:
1. A clever finance calculator which allows you to calculate balloon and straight finance.
2. Various finance examples of prestige vehicles.
3. A Glossary of financial terms like what’s a balloon and what’s an APR.
4. Fully secure (dedicated 128bit SSL) online application form for finance on private and dealer purchases.
5. Finance confirmation via the site
6. Future features such as members portal and various value added services.
Thanks for the initial feedback earlier this week which has allowed us to get it right for what everyone really wants from a decent car finance site.
Our Pistonheads adverts should be showing from today onwards in various forum sections, and we look forward to helping funding the car of your dreams.
Kind regards
Paul

congratulations Paul, nice site! All I need now is to be able to afford finance on a prestive sports car and I'll be a happy man
Hi mate, nice one thanks, hows the scooby mate?
You done any track days yet?
There is a novice one Sunday which is a great idea I think for people who aint' used to it. I mean am not that fast but know the protocols and feel at ease on the track, but it is hard when your new to it.
You should try it in your new car.
The scooby's fine Paul, kinda getting bored with it and got my eye on something else
I really need to do a trackday, not really had the chance to fully enjoy my car yet, it's in for a service next week and 4 new tyres so maybe after that I'll get myself booked on.
How's the porker? Were you at supercar sunday at knockers?
Cheers,
Neil.

Yes mate the Turbo is great, but on the day I got 2 sessions then my alternator belt went bust so had to call it a day. Common fault on the Turbo's apparently.

What colour is your new toy/part reg? I was there taking some snaps, I'll see if I can dig out some photos if you like..

So are the figures quoted exact,
So for a 997 turbo would the maximum balloon figure quoted be obtainable?
What did you put for a balloon on a 997 Turbo? So for a 997 turbo would the maximum balloon figure quoted be obtainable?
The figure results should be exact I think apart from any other loan fees and as the APR is decided at your application time by your financial circumstances. Why not take 10minutes using the Apply Now button if your seriosuly buying, and get the finance pre-approved for 30days which allows you to just take care of the buying process. Thats really the whole point of our site, to get your finance up front and make the buying process easy and to know everything before you part with your hard earned cash!!!
Normally a loan company will use CAP data for residuals and tbh the calc would need to be linked in in to this data, but unfortunately CAP will not do that for consumer values, trust me we tried.
I would say 60% on a 997 Turbo isn't uncommon.
Cheers
Paul
Paul,
Is is possible for you to provide a list of cars to choose from for a Budget of say £500 a month?
For example lets assume that you only want to finance the depreciation of the car over 3 years and then at the end of the term sell it to cover the ballon, potentially your £500 could get you a shitter that depreciates likes a stone or something decent that holds it value. Am I on the right track here or talking BS

Had a brainwave today and thought I will share it with you chaps to see if it would work....
Having looking at the classified section over the last 18m + at various motors, its apparent that some cars now are depreciation proof. Such as a mint F355 (some examples being 55k to 65k), Enzo, 360 CS or a 993 Turbo (upto 85k!!!). Now if you had bought the car on a baloon payment type finance plan, would it be likely to own the car (taking running costs out of the equation) for nothing or a slight profit?

You would only own the car when you make the final balloon payment, and if the car had not depreciated then theoretically you could sell it and get your money back
