That yellow Roadster was (I believe) the first one into the UK after the car was launched.

Valentino was asked not to break it by the importers as it was to be their demo car for a while until a rhd car got here.

(O/T: Lamborghini Great Britain were, ahem, actually one of my clients at the time. They would let me sit in their showroom in Reading or Park Lane when I brought along design and print proofs for the marketing bods to see - usually far too early in the day, for some reason).

As the chaps from LGB didn't ask him not to, (and as Clarkson was already well down the road of being 'a very annoying git indeed' - I mean, "Valentino Bilbao" tsk), VB thought he'd just near-knacker a full set of almost new P7's and make the lanky sod squirm, a lot.

What a pity the seat damage never made it into the film...

That being the 'non-standard extra ridges' on the base of the passenger seat...

Where JC found a 'new' way to hold on...

I think we all agree Balboni is a living legend. Has someone already written a book, or produced a movie about this man? If not, WHY NOT???
