Hi there,

Spent the day around the Sheffield area visiting clients and thought whilst I was in the area I would nip into Winchester cars for a nosey round.

Quite glad I did really as they had some really nice cars in the showroom.

LP640

Gallardo Superleggera

Gallardo Spider

Sorry for the poor pics but the batteries were flat in my point and shoot and I had left my SLR camera at home. These were taken on my mobile.

Spoke to the salesman in the showroom and am planning to go back again next week with my proper camera to get loads of decent pics.

Regards

Tim

Tim,
Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
How are you?
I was in there fairly recently and they had an abundance of Lambos!
As you can see here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Winchester cars is great, but their customer service is generally poor but they are always happy with people having a good nose around! I don't think the showroom lighting does the cars justice though, I would love to see them out and about, especially the SL.

What did you think of Sheffield? See many supercars around? I was overtaken by that LP640 on the way into the Peak district a few weeks ago - didn't see it coming at all!

Hi there,

My mobile does take quite good pics, not an N95 though only a Nokia 6233 (2 megapixel camera).

Hi there,

Quite like Sheffield, have loads of client around Sheffield,Rotherham and Doncaster so am usually around the area a couple of days a week. Did not see any other cars worth mentioning unfortunately. Brightened up a dull windy day today.

Tim

I remember seeing in a video on youtube, that number plate MR DIN on a black gallardo.

Here is the clip if you want to see supercars on the streets of sheffield:

I went to uni' in Sheffield a few years ago and, seemingly, the only supercars to be seen were driven by either a certain Mr N Hamed or the owner of Winchester Cars/his employees.

Attercliffe was beginning to turn in to car dealership land back then though, I imagine it's more prevalent now.

I thought i recognised the MR D1N plate..
It's on the history of the car i just purchased - black Gallardo 2004.

Anyone know him or any history? could get scared at this bit! :-)

Cool vid though..

IIRC, Cavanagh who posts on here, Stuttgart 9's and PureGT knows the guy well (they are friends). The green LP640 above is the same one that Tom Hartley had in (MR DIN bought it from there a few months ago)

PM Cavanagh Nick, he can answer your query (and get you in touch with your cars previous Owner)

Top pictures as always, even with the lesser camera! smile
I'll have to get round to dragging them from my phone from the last GoodWood meet, there are some crackers on there!

Ecclesall Road was the place to spot some nice motors when I was at uni a few years back. I was there this weekend just gone and spied a nice F430 and Atom!!
