Gallardo Oil

Was set to go on the Kent run , but checking over my Superleggera the oil is really low... Lambo London told me it'd need some oil approaching 1,000 miles which it is ...

They've recommended Mobil1 5w40 , but the manual says Agip 5w40 ... BUT I can't find any ?!

Any ideas ?

There is no such thing as Mobil 1 5w40 ... Lambo London use Mobil 1 0w40. Spoke to a good indie yesterday who uses Agip, but assured me the Mobil 1 0w40 is about as good as you are gonna get and that its fine to use in a G. Some swear by Agip, even some stories of other oils ausing engine failures. Depends who you talk to......

So using 0w40 for in warranty cars is not recommended

I've got a gallon of Agip if you're stuck mate! Stick it in the post if it helps!!

Jon, they told me to use Shell Helix 5W-40 (the Ferrari approved one) as this is as close to the Agip as you can get and easily available from any Shell petrol station.

Mobil 1 you can find in Esso stations. Full range in big ones.
