Gallardo - odd dent shape on rear?

Hi all,

Having noticed on a few Gallardo's now, including my own and most people saying "is that a dent?"

Anyone know why there is an odd oval shaped dent on the rear, where the lamborghini logo is? Did they plan a different type of badge and change their minds..? unless there is a technical reason it seems a little random!

In the usual theme of PH, this is the worst "show me pics of your Gallardo's rear" ever.

Hm, those cars are really growing on me. I almost prefer the shape to the Murcielago, now.

Just got in... but!.. I have seen 3 or 4 2004 cars at least that have this dent type of "thing".. I personally think the early cars were destined for a different badge... I do hope it wasn't the the audi olympic symbol!.. Will get some pics to confirm at the weekend..
But it is there for sure.. and deffo not a dent i tell ya!
