amergency help, problem with G

My G wont release its filer cap when I press the switch. Exactly like on top gear recently. Is there any other way to get petrol in?

if you open the engine cover and pull the ring position under the right hand throttle body that is an emergency release

I think you have to have the igition key turned to the off position for the switch on the dash to work.
