Can anyone here, explain to me why THIS should command circa $2000?

Let it be known that I'm not knocking him, it looks better than anything I could do...

Now, I could understand if it had a certain unique style, but in my opinion, it just looks terrible...

It's worth what someone's willing to pay for it. Thank f**k he got out of the dental industry, though. hehe

Think of it as charity, like buying embroidered doilies from people who drool.

There are so many responses to that I'm not even going to bother ...

Don't know if you have looked around his shop, but there is also This Gallardo.

It would appear that some large heavy object (perhaps a badly drawn hippo?) has landed on the roof...

Actually, it's a well-drawn polar bear wearing an invisibility suit à la Predator.

I think they're actually quite good paintings. If you look at the use of colour and light (all a bit "lar dee dar" I know), the artist clearly knows what they're doing.

The problem is a car is a technical subject, rather than an organic one, and they don't lend themselves well to the Impressionist approach.

IMO any car lover will have the piss taken out of him for having work like that on their walls, which is a shame.

rofl we're all commenting at the general shit-ness of the picture as a whole, and you're thinking the steering wheel's a bit small. Bless you, Soov.

PS - are you accepting email? I've got a career related Q for you (sorry) - either that or mail me.
