Gives us his views of the Lambo Reventon and slags off the Gallardo SL!
He does say he likes the LP640 and the standard Gallardo it's just the special editions he does not like.
Guess he is going to get a hard time for that write up

He does have a point, the Reventon is an overpriced blinged up LP640 targeted at people with more money than sense. The SL is not worth the premium over the standard Gallardo either and i think the GT2 & Scud are allot quicker around a track - Also not everyone gets a hard-on with the Gallardos noise, it actaully got boring and gave me a headach after a weeks driving to and from work so i hate to think what the SL's noise must be like.

Both Evo and Autocar seem to dislike the SL but like the Ferrari Scuderia.
Looks like the SL will be one of those cars that gets poor ratings now but in years to come will be sought after I suspect.They don't seem to be selling out not sure how many RHD but seem to be a few on the market.
The SL came well down the list on ecoty 2007.

The evo lack of interest was more down to the brakes I think - they just found they were too snatchy for road use. The SL is a track day special really lookignat the spec sheet - so used as intended I bet its amazing. The mag views seem to be that it's a bit too track focussed for the road.

Having said that I'd sell bodyparts for any old lambo
