Hi Guys,

I was just wondering what, if any, modifications people do to Gallardo's apart from the usual stuff? I have Tubi, it's decatted, it also has a set of Titanium callisto's etc etc

I was thinking about stuff like reversing camera's, air filters, induction kits, interior upgrades, brake pads and disc's.....

Do people bother with any of that kind of stuff or is it just the yanks? lol

Any info or input would be appreciated.

Sarnie

TIA

There is a twin turbo converted G on youtube, something like 700bhp. Good enough up-grade?

Sorry mean't to say, no rear wings will be being attached lol

$55,000 for a twin turbo conversion is not quite what I had in mind lol

Any serious replies out there at all?

Cosmetic mods are a very personal thing, Liam, but on the performance front...

Consider improving the brakes (the Gallardo's only real weakness, relatively speaking). I've recently fitted EBC Yellow pads and the brakes have more initial bite and seem less prone to fade compared with the original Brembos. And maybe DOT5 fluid?

If you've had the car serviced within the last 12 months you should have Sports filters fitted already. I believe there is a newer, even less restrictive, Sports filter available.

Free flow filters can add to the aural experience but induction roar can also be a bloody nightmare and harder to outrun than exhaust noise, so you may want to stick with what you've got.

How about leopard print seats?! laugh

I have thought the same thing Sarnie.

Not much else you can do, maybe Grouppe M intake?

Wouldn't put in a rear camera as they are not very good (apparently) and although very small amount you are adding weight to your car.

You could get Carbon Fibre mesh and maybe do a carbon fibre interior like the SL?

Maybe tint your back lights slightly?

Best place to ask this kind of thing is Lambopower you know the americans are the king of "pimping their rides" lol

Agreed Miyagi, why gild the lilly!

I specced the smoked rear lights on mine, look nice.

If you already have the titanium callistos, can't see what more anybody would want to do smile

Its a pioneer. Can't remeber the model number i will check when i get home. It was about 2,500 plus about 250 for the camera I think. Its a great system. Ipod goes in the glove box and is fully controled on screen etc. Sat nav is very good as well and comes with a hard drive to burn CDs straight onto. Reverse camera very handy as well!

You could have the lower part of the rear bumper colour coded i have seen this on a gallardo in Lamborghini Birmingham and it looked good other than that you could add wing badges as i have they look very good.Once i have sorted my camera i will post a picture to show you.
