Its that plus VAT so total is £1703.75 fitted.
It is quoted from The Ferrari Centre although when i questioned the price they said i was lucky as prices just gone up and as i had just purchased the car they could do at old price for me.........
Have decided not to go for it though as want to run her as she is for a while (as this is my first ferrari) and if/when i get bored pay for one... hope i dont regret this straight away!!

BUY IT !!! Seriously, I drove around for the first 6 months in my 348 being a little dissapointed with the way it sounded if I'm honest. I bit the bullit and put an X-Ost on a few months ago and wish I'd done it sooner, the car now sounds how a Ferrari should sound and has totally changed the driving experience for me ! (Well with the addition of 4 new tyres since the old ones were 9 years old and some hill wheel spacers also!)
I notice there is a Quicksilver exhaust on ebay as another cheaper option but I dont know what they sound like ?

If you keep the Cats on you get half the sound benefit and half the power benefit.
The cats make it louder, but in a good way, but they also make the engine feel a lot more free revving.
Only one small point. The replacement test pipes (not sure why they are called this but they are) have a fitting for the lambda sensor to attach to, but as you no longer have cats this sometimes confuses the Lambda and it thinks the cats are overheating and so shuts down one bank. No big problem as you just pull over, switch off, switch on again and it's fine... however, what 90% of owners do is simply disconnect the lead to the Lamda sensor, tape it up and tie it to any convenient strut. Very easy, even I managed it and never had a problem again

One thing is I notice your car is a 1993 so you would fail an MOT if you put test pipes on. Only Pre Aug 1992 cars can have Cats removed and still pass an MOT, luckily my car is a July 92 so just made it !!
Decats are seriously loud though, I was coming out of a carpark the other day and managed to set off several car alarms after a wee squirt of the right foot ! Most amusing !

And naturally all of the (not insignificant numbers of) post '92 348 owners with de-cats ALL put the cats back on once a year for a 40 minute test
Same as all those de-catted Lambo owners and TVR and Lotus et al et al et al ....
Like I offered, one text video clip and you will convinced
