Lambo and R8's spotted - pics

Hi Guys,

I am in Sheffield this weekend and it's been raining since I arrived on Thursday night so I assumed I would see very little supercar action, however how wrong was I! It certainly proves that there are some useable everyday supercars out there afterall!
Also it was the first red R8 I've seen - what do you guys think?
I'll post some vids in due course..

i think it can pull it off quite well!, red looks nice, but TBH if i went to order one tomorrow i don't think i could be that brave though!
Phantom Black with the Oxygen Silver sideblades is the best combo IMO

The more I see the R8 the more I don't like it either. It just looks half Audi TT, half supercar..
The Lambo looks lovely. Were they in convoy ? judging by one of the pics, it could be so.

To be honest, the novelty of the R8s have worn off. No longer a fan.

Thanks for your comments guys. I'm glad I had my camera on me! The pics were quite rushed as the weather was terrible and wanted to join the convoy for a shirt blat.

Just to clarify I saw the red R8 in Tesco Car Park, then the gray one was part of the convoy with the Gallardo and Porsche, then just been for a drive in the peak district and came across the silver one below and also a black one last night! They seem to be around every corner in Sheffield. I'd have
a Gallardo over the R8 anyday!




2jamesl - the effect on the third picture is created by using the colour accent mode on my camera so you highlight a particular colour ie red or yellow and everything else comes out black and white. I think the mode is on all the latest Ixus range cameras from Canon.
