just been pulled over by the traffic police for having black number plates..
tried to act dumb saying because it was a private plate and older than 1974 thought i could have it... promptly told vehilce needs to be that old..

but unbelievably they gave me two fixed penalty notices one for the front plate the other for the rear!!! means reported to dvla twice for same offence..... is this legal!!!

whats more is was the same pesky police officer who stopped me in my lambo last month one hour after i left the showroom and was trying to seize the vehicle claiming it came up on the system that i had no insurance obviously hadnt updated quick enough!!

where do i stand in the matter with the two seperate summons?
any legal minds out there? surely this is one offence???

Ouch, sorry to hear that. I presume they are like defective tyres - you can get a FPN for each defective tyre. He must have been in a bad mood to do you twice!

You might be better off in S, P & L.
