I see this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/319777.htm

was claimed to have been owned by 5 Star. I always thought that was the L reg blue Anniverary however.

The car adverstised was registered 1990 so is another Anniversary although in same colour.

Anyone know?

thanks

Surely that would decrease the value of the car? smile

I was going to Egham one Saturday morning a long time ago and saw one of them come out of their gated house in a red porsche 911 speedster - Lovely car with a pratt behind the wheel, as he was waving like he was royalty

I have seen this car. Strange that it is up for auction as the current owner paid top money less than a year ago. The car was sourced for him by a dealer.

He had to have the 'Five Star Car' at any cost.

Wonder what happened? - Maybe the 80's pop band revival is over cool

That car is NOT the same 5STAR car as went to Scotland last year... if it is in fact one of 'their' cars at all!

The car in this thread was/is for sale with Oselli as well as via the auctioneers ... anybody interested in buying this car might like a short word with some LCUK peeps who went to see it... it's easily re-transmitted via a pm, if you really want to know!

I remember seeing two of the Five Star countach's back in the late 1980's going down the A30 near Sunningdale but one was a white QV with a private plate something like 280 DEL or 780 DEL and the other one was black!

I never remember them having a blue Anniversary Countach? Does anybody know what happened to the white and black cars?

Is there really a premium attached for it once belonging to Five Star?
