Couldn't resist replying to that..

Doing a promotion until end of Jan whereby for £99 you get 4 laps driving one of any of the Supercars we have at 6th Gear (inc LP640/Gallardo/6.2 Murcie),and just before that a demo lap (instructor driving) in an M3 CSL and a fast/hot lap at the end (Instructor driving)in the same car. All at Elvington near York beginning March this year. That offer isnt on the website - www.6thgearexperience.com - you need to ring for it. You get a gift voucher to give to her by the way smile

Simon,

Also looking for birthday gift for the other half.
Do you have any other offers available, driving say more than one type of car ie. LP and 360CS?

Had a poke around your LP and Cars in the Park, stunning piece of kit...the missus isnt impressed by my Exige S anymore biggrin

Paul Donkin (996 GT3 RS) (who I know through work) was telling me he had a play in the LP when you first got it...he seemed impressed.

Hi Ian,

Yea there is a load of different packages to go on but I haven't had chance to get the website updated with them all yet. Yep you can drive the LP640 and 360 Stradale for £255 back to back, plus the demo and hot lap before and after for that. We've an Ariel Atom too (from March) which you can add in if you like for a bit extra. Thanks for your interest

Any ideas when the site will be updated? A few people I know have been given a driving experience IOU for christmas - I'll probably tag along (I'm pointing them down the CS and LP640 route at the moment smile

It'll be done within a couple weeks..

Nothing round Leicester area I'm afraid. Venues are really difficult to tie down with the noise issues etc smile

Hi there,

I have been a passenger both on track and on public roads in Simon/Andys LP640 and I can tell you that it is an awesome car.

As soon as I read Simons post I e-mailed him and have booked 4 laps in the LP640 for £99.00 driving

Can't wait.

Regards

Tim

Yes you get 4 laps driving the LP640 for £99, plus a demonstration lap (Instructor driving) in an M3 CSL plus a high speed lap (Instructor driving) also in the M3 CSL. Yep all for £99. No minimum age but have to hold a full UK driving license. There's an Instructor sat next to you with a hand held kill switch so no funny business wink

Sorry to plug the business on line, but for anyone who has a youngster who is car mad we're doing kids Ferrari experiences from March whereby anyone 4'10'' high or more, gets to drive the 360 Modena in automatic around a coned out mini - circuit for 10/15 mins. Instructor next to them of course and 360 has dual controls too. £79.
And no, no kids allowed to drive the LP!

Would there be any chance of doing the youngster session in an Aston Martin?

I wouldnt mind getting my dad a go for his 50th in feb. How can i take up on the offer, any discount if you buy 2 lots as I dont think i can resist either lol

You have to try dont you?

Also is this restricted, i did a ferrari driving day which wasnt at all so long as you had respect for the car and its owner? Would hate for my dad to do one and it be restricted revs wise etc?
