Shhh don't tell the Porsche boys

I'm a stranger round these parts but has anyone gone from a 996 turbo/GT2 to a 360? Now I'm doing less miles there seems to be an unseen force guiding me towards something red and noisy.
I see for ~70k I can get into a 2003 360 of some sort but what's the idiot's guide to the 360 range? How much will I pay for servicing etc? Also, does anyone with a crystal ball know where such a car would be on its depreciation curve? Are they ok to live with on the occasional 150 mile blast with some town driving thrown in?
Cheers
SM
I came from a GT3 to 360 (if thats any use) - its farking great
servicing depends on how much you drive (6000 interval), but to me the GT3 was more expensive (probably due to track use, which I'm not subjecting the 360 to). Belts are <500 quid every 3 years, so not exactly a bank breaker - apart from that the 360 has a reputation for being relatively bulletproof (if you go for a manual modena) - that servicing is a few hundred quid more than the pork, but so far for me I don't see any significant difference to pork ownership.
