What happened to the rest of the cars in Saddam and Udays collection. Allegedly there were hundreds of motors including a Maclaren F1

Uday Hussain's Ferrari 550
I think that the Testaroosa & Porsche 911 belonged to the Hussains as well before the Yanks gor their mitts on them.
Oh, and how about that 250GTO in a field?

MAXIMUM SARCASTIC MODE ON

Whilst all those cars got destroyed, (many of Uday's by his daddy actually!), at least those fine upstanding American neo-conservatives and their good friends the government of the UK can now say that Iraq is free of all the years of Saddam-driven suffering and is now able to bask in the joy of being in true democracy again.

The people who live in the land that was one of the cradles of civilisation must be so happy that they are free at last!

MAXIMUM SARCASTIC MODE OFF

meanwhile, back in some semblance of the 'real' world - did anybody ever think such easy-to-destroy symbols of the old regime's excesses would be allowed to survive?

Surely someone needs to rescue that yellow Espada.
It won't last long outside with no back window.
