Just talked with them about doing a Diablo for me.

They will renovate the car and refinish it in yellow.

Any experience with them?

just found their website... they appear to be a salvage company... I'd be very, very careful if I were you!

No experience with them personally, but the Orange Diablo that they had on thesite, I viewed it in Kuwait and it should have come with a collar and lead as it was such a dog.

Speak to Mike Pullen to get your Diablo sorted, he does my TR and will do my Diablo this year (all being well wink )

I DONT own a Diablo yet. But I am looing for an early diablo (90-94)

I have talked to him because he can offer me a restored and repaintet 93 for 45,000.
He is restoring the car right now, so I can decide the body color. The car is completly disasiblied as a buyer left a deposit for a it the be restored to immaculate condt.m, but backed out. Engine, clutch etc will also be completly serviced.

There are a couple of Diablos here http://www.topgear-cars.co.uk/pages/showroom2005.p... for less than £50k. OK, they are a bit earlier than the '93 you are looking at, but search on this forum for TopGear cars, and you will find that Carlo has a pretty good reputation amongst those who have bought cars from him.

Hi mate,

Looking to get a Diablo very soon-been looking around and found a couple. Just seeing the best way of doing it. Decision will then be made whether to keep the TR frown Tough one.

I have found the filter at last-it had somehow made its way with the airbox upstairs into the loft! Do you still want it?

How's your going at the mo?

I'll take the filter off you if that's ok?

I've been looking at Diablo's too. I viewed the gray one at Nick Cartwrights and do like the look of the Viola one at Top Gear although that's been for sale 12 months plus now I think.

My TR going fine now just wish it would stop raining long enough to drive it. Sounds great with the Specialised Exhausts system on it

I'll PM you on address and stuff for filters

Couldn't hold Carlo at Topgear Cars in any higher regard, being a Lambo owner for probably ocver 20 years or more and a seller for the same amount of time, he is a real enthusiast, and travels the continet for the marque!!!

Carlo is a good guy. I am just down the road, and it would be easy enough for me to nip down the road, have a coffee with Carlo and get some good photos of anything you might fancy in his showroom.

Genuine offer.

Quite like the look of that red Diablo with the roadster wheels & big brake conversion.
Is it as good as it looks in the pictures?

imo, frankly - NO it's not!

That car is far better than those pictures make it look!

LCUK has seen pictures of that car over the last few years on the road, at the Knockhill track and just looking and being pretty darned excellent in general - quite possibly one of the best early-spec. Diablos with the perfect cure for the early cars' Achilles heel - stomping good brakes!

ps Carlo pays me exactly £0 for saying that sort of thing, by the way! He does have a good link to the maker of some great chocolates though and I've been known to 'enjoy' the odd delicate ruddy great handful of those!
