Murciélago LP640 Painting

I've never really grasped the "paint a picture of a car" artform.
Unless you can really do the subject justice, then either paint an abstract, or take a photo.
In that one above, the artist hasn't even managed to get the wheels running in the same direction - why? Looks cack in my opinion, but that's just it, everyone has their own opinion!!
My 2p worth is that's something I'd put on the fridge if my son bought home from nursery, but no more than that...

unfqing believable - keep your 2p opinion to yourself or else post up pics of your own effortUnless you can really do the subject justice, then either paint an abstract, or take a photo.

the wheels are running in the same direction. Better take some perspective class
But your right, everyone has its opinion.
BTW: I draw my own concepts, too. And they wouldn't look that good, if I wouldn't draw pictures of excisting cars, too.
I draw those car portraits, to improve my skills, have fun and to earn money by drawing them for owners.

That Gallardo was actually 'decorated' with lots of easily removable tape work... in that respect, its easier to take a "take all tastes" point of view instead of a (not-unreasonable) "that's a ruddy awful mess!" standpoint.
Actually, the more that I look at pictures of that Gallardo with the 'tapejob' (soon to be a ™ XXVIII phrase, so watch it!) the more I like it - imagine how good that would look on an arancio Murciélago for example, for a while, maybe?

mad as a fish?Things are mostly not s' bad, nothing that an £18,000,000 win this evening wouldn't address!
and as for that 'madasafish' - I've not had an e-account with those headtheballs for some years now, planning on getting the 'ell away from BT soon, so may look at a reconnection with them. Maybe kind-of!
