Its going well thanks. The car doesnt get my blood racing, but its a very accomplished GT cruiser.

- FAR better build quality than any other Maser I have experienced (its up there with Germanic finish/quality)
- Achingly beautiful car that gets a LOT of compliments/admiration (more so than my Murci, which surprises me)
- Proper 4 seater (unlike any other 2+2 GT car I can think of), so it doubles up great as a family car
- Frugal (I'm getting 20mpg average out of it, and I dont hang about with the right foot)
- Great long distance cruising weapon (I've done two Bucks/Cheshire runs in it in the last two weeks - loaded with family/luggage etc, and its been a joy)

You cant really hustle it down the lanes, but then its not designed to be that sort of car anyway.

It's good to know it's been positive thus far. I had to laugh at the idea of 20mpg being frugal but I know what you mean biglaugh I haven't even driven one yet and despite having had the car on order for over 5 months now, the supplying dealer didn't even bother to offer me the courtesy of a test of their demo car when it arrived. That is being rectified this week but at my prompting so I'm not overjoyed with their customer service again (had a previous issue with them and placed the order for the GT there against my better judgement). I'm not expecting a fast B road car and will be very happy with a relaxed GT as the other toys are plenty fast enough for B road blasts. The compliments/admiration versus the Murci doesn't surprise me in the slightest to be honest. I'm quite looking forward to the subtle exclusivity of the car.

Pleased to hear such a positive review of the GT. Mine is scheduled for April delivery and you comments really echo the reasons why I ordered it. smile

Mosi - Whats the room like in the back mate? Is it practical (on the lines of a Continental GT or impractical on the lines of a 911/DB9??)

Far more space (both seat space, legroom and headroom) than a Bantley GT. I was quite surprised when I got it. It truly is a perfect family car ! smile

Wow, very surprised by this. Would have thought it'd be 612 type space but clearly sounds bigger. Very interesting. If so it's in a niche of its own really...

Plato loved it on his test drive of it on 5th Gear last night, apart from him wanting another 100hp/100Nm that is.

Looked stunning outside and inside.....
