Anyone know of any good Paint Shops near Chelmsford

Hi All,

My current painter is giving me the run around - therefore, I'm now looking for a new one!

Can anyone recommend a good, reliable and trustworthy paint sprayer around the Chelmsford / Wickford / Hanningfield / South Woodham sort of area?

It's an odds n sods job!!
Prob why my usual painter can't be bothered!

I've tried Fullbridge - but would prefer not to re-mortgage just to get the few little bits done!!!

I have used Argent bodyworks in Chelmsford, it's in a funny little location but the work (and price) was great. They are doing a friends E-Type at the moment

There's is also a Lotus Specialist type place near Writtle, not used them as they seemed to be shut whenever I rang, but came recommended.

How about Mick Rice? Only ever heard good things about him and he does high end stuff.

Nearer to you...is Graham Richardson still going? he used to do all the paint for Lancaster when Nick still owned it. Painted my SC 20 years ago and did a very good job.

Don't be put of by the site, he's fixed my Noble a few times and does quite a few Ford GT's. I've seen one white GT he painted black. You'd never hve known even looking in the engine bay etc.

He did some very good work on my better half's 407 after I was T-boned in the rear quarter by a muppet. The guy came highly recommended to me by a an old friend who is a local Dealer (Paul Bailey of Bicknacre) and who uses Thompson for all his own work.

There is a very good father/son bodyshop near Margareting, down the 2 way slip road and along that county road, will get the name and number. Only a small place but do very good work was in there monday and they where working on a Ferrari 360 also had a old Porsche in there.

I've just got my car back from Brewster motors, and I'm very very impressed with their service.

They done a very good job and looked after my car perfectly.
I Just thought I would give credit where credit was due.
