Have been keeping an eye on the Maserati granpsorts on the market at the mo and have noticed that a couple have dropped sticker prices a couple of £k on Autotrader in the last few weeks.
There is a nice black one down a couple of £k to £35995!

Very, very tempting! lick

After enjoying amazing residual's on my M3csl for the last 18months of ownership I'm just a bit wary of the dreaded d word with the masers! Going to have to scratch that itch sooner or later. Had a look in one at brooklands in leeds and was very impressed!
Black? red? hmmmmm.......

Just need to sort a drive!

In a similar position, watching and waiting..........The whole service / repairs cost is all that really worries me, the drive is great by the way.

How are you getting on with it? Any issues? (I'm a little worried about running costs too!)
What car have you come from?

ps
Found this on the maser uk forum of genuine GS going very cheap: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-Maserati-Granspor-HAS-T...

Sold for £32k!! someone was obviously desperate to sell, was a good car apparently

I've come from an Audi S4 Avant (fast, reliable, practical, loved it but Audi fecked me about so won't be buying another)

I'm still enjoying the car.. even more so now the weather's getting better & I'm now used to the lack of 4wd grip.

Running costs aren't as bad as you'd think but 2-3k a year is probably a wise budget. For instance main dealers are looking for nearly £750 a pair for rear tyres, shopping around will nearly cut that in half. The actual services do seem steep if you are using a main dealer to maintain your warranty but if you aren't there are a handful of very wel respected specialists around who will do a fine job for much less. I know that once mine's out of warranty it'll be going to a well known place down near the south coast. In fact, if there's anything outside the schedule pop's up, it'll be going there too!

All in all the car's actually very well screwed together, service from the dealer so far has been good & I can't complain about anything other than the cost of filling the thing up 88ltr pls a 12ltr reserve means it can be steep but that's hardly massers fault. Oh & I seem to get around 15-16mpg with a mix of traffic, fast road & hooning - though there's no computer so you are relying on my guestimates.

If you are looking at a GS (or 3/4200 even) have a look at www.maseratiforum.co.uk it's slowly building up a lot of very useful information & worth a look.

Any Q's PM me, here or over there smile
