A good used F430 Cpe
Discussion
When someone test drives a few F430's do you think they would go for the car that feels the quickest and smoothest?
I think they would.
When someone is looking to buy an F430 would they prefer a car that has done 1000 miles in 2 yrs with 1 owner that has never been over 70mph or left central london or an 8k 2 owner car that has been monaco and back several times?
I think the 1k car.
if you drove the 2 cars above it would be the 2nd that's smoother and quicker!! Apart from cars with previous accident damage should mileage and ownership really matter or are you better buying the car that drives the best?
this post has come about due to me driving an F430 Cpe today that's 1st owner was a 360 challange novice racing driver who used this as his road racer (drove it like he stole it). It was without a doubt the best F430 i've ever driven and not just in pure pace but the pick from standstill was like no other F430. The speed and smoothness of the gear change felt like the differance between a 575F1 and a 599. The car after 7k has only used 23% of it's clutch and 15% of it's CCB. I also drove another F430 this week with 2.5K, the 1 owner i wouldn't have thought it has ever seen the wrong side of 6krpm. It had and gear change and standstill pick up like a early 360 F1.
if you're buying to enjoy the car for what it is then i would suggest going for one that's had some use and enjoyed before you.
