Flying over for the day, probably the second saturday so hoping to have a good nose round the new style G.
Not been to the show before, is it an up close and have a good look type one or do I need to make contact with lambo prior to going so as to get beyond ropes??
It's a great show. I shall be there on the 7th. It's a good idea to get a letter of introduction from your dealer or lambo - it'll help get you into "hostility". Have a good show.
Regards.

Going on 3rd and 4th March, can't wait. Will be easier on my feet unlike Frankfurt last September which was vast!
I thought the first day was the 6th.
Apologies.

any luck getting a pass?
Not sure who you were asking in the first instance, but my pass is provided annually by a client who exhibits there every year. He asked me in 1987 and I've never looked back.Geneva is my favourite, followed by Paris and Frankfurt even if it is a vast sprawl! I won't bother saying much about the 'home' shows - outrageous prices and not all manufacturers bother showing there.
Ferrari customers are sent a pass on request,, got one for maserati too,,and looking to get one for lamborghini what exactly is on these stands apart from cars,,, a nice bar?

Nice one. If clients pay lots, and have to ask for a pass!Exoticaholic said:

There's nice food in the upstairs lounge on the Lamborghini stand - if you can get past security!!
Got to say, free hospitality getting more and more restricted on many stands unless you can prove press accreditation.

so anyone thats been to geneva so far,, whats the hospitality like in the various stands?
I went on press day, hospitality was free flowing although you have to prove press accreditation or show a letter from your dealer, or even better, the UK importer. It depends on what make you were interested in, that levels of hospitality vary.

I went last Saturday. Hospitality access is vital for the sanity, it was absolutely heaving everywhere (except the Kia stand of course). Lamborghini hosp area is upstairs above the merchandising area, nice bar with titbits, and an LP560 to poke around. Plus a great vantage point to look down at the plunging necklines of the laydees on the stand.Stonking day, started by being invited past the masses to fast track check in at the aiport and generally just got better and better.
Hats off to Aston Martin, spent almost 2 hours with their Northern European after sales director running through the vantage roadster & the DBS and is arranging for a test drive weekend for us. Very nice champers there too

Nissan were top guys, spent a long while in their chill out room quaffing some pleasant red wine and chatting to the guy coordinating the GT-R launch.
Bentley were incredibly nice and helpful and Ferrari were only too pleased to let us on the stand using our lambo documents to show us round
Only one company stand were completely disinterested, acted like arrogant tossers and informed us that they couldn't wait to finish, as the day was just for tourists and that all the 'important folk' had gone home. Nice touch, they make great cars, but could learn an awful lot from their competitors still.
