Had a run out today and did a bit of Supercar spotting
Discussion
Hi there,
Had taken the day off work today to go to the 'Focus on Imaging' camera show at the NEC.
Thought I would make the most of the day so me and my son had a tour round some of the more well known car dealers in the midlands.
As we had been to the NEC it seemed rude not to call into Lamborghini Birmingham. Funnily enough I have never been to this dealership before, its a nice set up with some great cars.
The had a nice Verde Draco LP640 coupe and 3 Gallardo Spiders in the main showroom. One of the Gallardo's was in a dark grey with a bright orange interior. Actually quite liked the colour scheme. The also had a Gallardo Spider in my favourite colour: -

Sorry for the crap pics but I only had my mobile with me.
In the rear showroom they had a gorgeous Yellow Murcielago coupe and a very nice Black Murcielago Roadster. Had a good look through the window into the rear yard and they had about 4 or 5 Superleggeras including a stunning White one. They also had a Black Diablo 6.0 parked in there.
All in all a great place for a true petrolhead like me.
After Lamborghini Birmingham we headed over to Graypaul in Nottingham. As usual they had a great selection of cars including quite a few F430s, a nice Black 599 and a couple of 360 Stradales. They too had a Yellow Murcielago Coupe for sale and a couple of Gallardos. The Ford GT in their showroom looks the part to in Grey/Silver. If anyone fancies a look at a Maserati Gran Turismo head over to Graypaul as there were no less than 4 in the showroom.
Had a quick glance through the window to the workshop. A couple of cars stood out including a very good condition F40 and an F50 that was really stripped down (looked like engine out). Have seen this particular F50 at a few events and its a superb car.
After Graypaul we headed back to Derby. We popped into the Audi garage and had another look at the beautiful white R8 they have.

Just across the road from the Audi dealer is Milltek Sport http://www.millteksport.com/index.cfm
They actually do an after market exhaust system for the R8 and have a demo car all stickered up !!
Last visit of the day was Mercedes Benz Derby, not for their usually display of A & B Classes but I had heard that they had a Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series for sale. They are not many of these around so I thought we would go and have a better look: -

Great looking car and what an interior, stripped out with lots of alcantara and carbon.
Sorry to bore you all with the details of my day but it may be of interest to a few of you.
Regards
Tim
