12 Cylinder decision......

After being car-less for over a year I'm looking at spoiling myself with a 12 Cylinder for a while (I've been told everyone should have one before they die).
At the moment a 550 is my choice but I've noticed a few 512 TR's for sale that have got me thinking again. I haven't driven one so I was wondering if anyone who's sampled both, or a 512 TR to give me their thoughts or anything I should be aware of.
I've already been told I may be too tall at 6'2" to fit in a 512 but I thought the later model cars were a little better for head-room?

The 512's seem to be moving up in price as well - not sure they're even worth the price differential there is today?

I am 6ft 3 and have no worries in my Testarossa. Driven it to Cornwall and back no worries and no cramp.

TR and 512TR/M market is picking up. But now before they start increasing lots. You WON'T retire on one, but you will have a hell of a lot of fun!

I bought a 550 in December and haven't regretted it. I moved from a 996 C2. You'd easily fit in a 550.

550's are good value. Its V12 is amazing, as is the handling. Be sure to get the right colour. A matter of taste of course, but IMO red isn't a good colour.
