British GT event at Oulton Park 24/03/08 - organised meet ?

Hi there,

The first round of the 2008 British GT season is just three weeks away (Easter Bank Holiday) weekend at Oulton Park in Cheshire.

This event is a must for any GT racing fan and the 2008 championship is expected to be a corker with loads of Ferrari F430's and and a couple of Lamborghini Gallardos taking part.

I am attending the Media Day for the launch of the 2008 Championship this Thursday so should be able to give you guys some pics of the runners and riders.

I know Steve (Mosi) has arranged meetings for forum members at Silverstone and Brands Hatch events in 2007 and will also be doing the same in 2008, but wondered if anyone was up for an organised meet at Oulton Park ?

OK in addition to my first post, we can either make the meeting on Saturday for the first race or Easter Monday for the second race (there is no racing on Easter Sunday).

When replying please state if you would be interested in a meeting on Saturday or Sunday.

Hi Tim, I've been chasing Lambo HW weekly on this and according to them they are still chasing the organisers to get it all nailed down.

I will point Zara Shultz at this thread and ask them for an update

CrikeyMikey (Mike Emerton) is organising this one though (being Northern and all that)
