Been keeping my eye on Gallardo prices last year - could be tempted if they drop into the high £60k's for earlier cars.
Found one at £75k (04/18k miles) so can't be long before prices drop into the £60k's
Anyone have an opinion on this?

I think that the G prices will continue to fall. All top end marques seem to have falling prices at the moment. I am hopefully a buyer of a G later in 2008 but I am not a buyer at current levels. Wait a bit, once the new model comes out (4 exhaust pipes and more power) and see older revision models price drop.

The bid/ask spread is pretty bonkers anyway, I think you can just make a very low cash offer and see what happens...

The new car is going to be priced quite a bit higher than the existing coupe so used prices will if anything firm up as a result, not drop.

Ro you should buy one anyway as you have had your Turbo for years and it's time you made a change. I personally recommend a Ferrari now I have one but a Lambo would also be cool. Just think of the drive down to Goodwood for the FOS in a Lambo or Ferrari? go on.. you only live once mate

Dion will sort it all out for you - give him a ring.

I think the lower end of the price market will remain , but come september the higher end non new cars will drop sharply

Agreed - IMHO the £80-100k bracket will plateau. SL's will take a hit, as will anything early 07 - early 08

what would this be typically - say for a car that retails at 80 - 85k?
and what would it be for a car that retails at 120k?

I think the spread is around 15-20% of the retail price, although i am ready to be corrected !
