I have one... but have never actually driven it ;-)
Seriously, they`re a superb machine. It`S also a good bet that they`ll hold strong on pricing given they`re relatively limited numbers (1274 examples being produced in total).

You kept that bloody quiet Geoff! I heard that you had sold the 348 but didn't realise why!

Keith - Rods (rob) on here went from a 620bhp 996 Turbo to a CS and has never stopped grinning. If you are serious, drop him a message, he'll give you a straight opinion.

I'd be interested to hear about these cars too. Specifically from anyone who has experince of the Strad AND standard F430. Loved owning my first Ferrari (F430) last year and getting back in to one this spring but wondering if a 360 Strad would be a shrewder (financially) and possibly more exciting buy than another F430. I assume the older car is a least a quick as the 430 and I won't feel short changed in that area?

If you like stripped out cars, bucket seats, carbon, awesome noise and superb handling then it's a fantastic car. For me it's the only car I've had over the years that I really wished I'd held on to. It was also the only car I'd driven where I could get on with the paddle shift gearbox.

I do think the dealers are asking too much for them tho. However I'm sure some strong haggling would bring the numbers to the right level as with any purchase.

The only thing I missed was the difference in torque when accelerating, from my 996 TT(S)days. However the CS has plenty of other positives which more than make up for it. I'd definitely consider buying another one.... in fact I have been.

fantastic car, a real stripped out screamer, be careful to make sure you get full main dealer history, we sold one to a great customer and he had cold running problems car would start but he had to leave it to warm up otherwise cam followers would lock solid and would not start agein, went to owens and they rebuilt the top end with new everything, Ferrari put a new engine in it under warranty, apparently a £40K bill, we almost did a deal with a car which had had £35K worth of damage, so check them out properly,

a friend of the family has owned pretty much everything you could think of and he reckons the CS is the best car he's ever owned.

I've been lucky enough to be a passenger in most of them, and driven a few top end cars (inc F430) and the CS is the most memorable.

A dream car smile

had the F430 before the strad and i can't tell you how much more exciting the the strad was!!! since gettin the strad i have looked and looked at what car to get next and nothing other than 300k+ cars would provide the same experience IMO.

mines a keeper.

Cheers - that's what I was hoping to hear! I'm guessing similar actual performance figures wise but VERY different delivery. Are continental trips (five days or so) with girlfriend just as feasable as in 430?

Like the keeper comment too - never done that and fancy owning something for more than six months!

continental trips are a piece of cake

been down to the south of france and back in a convoy of strads over a 7 day break. The boots bigger than a 911 (i should know having just got one and shocked to see how little space you have!)

Seats are even more comfortable than a 911 - sound is awesome, speed is immense, nothing comes close,

for some reason my cars got a shed load of torque too! Looking forward to taking her to Montecarlo for the grandprix & back again in June

Your partner will love it

Excellent - this just gets better. Yep, having had couple of 997s (S and GT3) I was very suprised to find a lot more boot space in my 430 and by the fact that it was more comfortable on long trips too. The fact the girlfiend much prefered it was a bonus so looking good for a Strad then! Just need to find one in Rosso Corsa rather than the other red they did - no offence to anyones P&J - just my preference.

Ah....Stradale's. Will Ferrari ever be able to make another car that makes the hairs on you neck stand up EVERY time you drive it, what a fantastic machine. Sooooo much more enjoyable than the rather clinical F430, I personally know of four people who have stepped up to a Strad from a 430...you will NEVER regret it.

Finding a good Rosso one is gonna be the hardest part mate, a friend of mine brought a car just before xmas, Rosso, but he looked at a good few before finding the right car.

Enjoy.......smile
