This thread has one fundamental flaw - you're quoting the BBC weather! Injury free, I cycle to work and use the BBC to see what lies ahead. I cant tell you how often its wrong. Serioulsy, its terrible.

In fact, it would probably be easier to tell you when its right, or nearly right. I think the last time I remember was August 17th 1998.

We don't take the lambo out in the rain that much as it's a roadster and it erm leaks rolleyes

Hope the weather cheers up for the weekend, it's certainly trying to brighten up here in Surrey at the moment.

Rain and Italian electrics, not a match made in heaven.

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/HOME/index_ht.asp these guys seem to be the best of a bad lot for weather accuracy.

30 yesars ago maybe, now every modern Ferrari / Lambo I have seen uses the same connector systems (ususly Tyco Superseal or FCI if it's of interest) as every other car.

Now if you will buy old cars then that's you're own problem any you only have yourself to blame!

Susie,

Were you up at Gaydon last year, there can only be one Diablo in that colour. There must be a story about the paint job, pray tell

We were!

The story on the paint job is nothing more than wanting to be a little "different"!

We have had the car a few years now but I have to say everytime I look at it I think "wow" and such fun to go out in. Although Mr 13th has spun it twice now!!! Surreal feeling to be pirouetting in such a car!!

Hey, anyone who can master the digital throttle response of a Maser 3200 get's my respect.bow

I remember the last one my brother had, as you slowly put your foot down milimetre by millimetre, 20bhp, 30bhp, ..wallop 370bhp!

In fact double that if it's a manual and you don't wear a neck brace!

Sounds like his throttle potentiometer needed re calibrating.

Weather has indeed been rather off, but I actually had a lot of fun over at the snowy Nurburgring over Easter.

The Gallardo was perfect for coping with two to three inches of snow on the roads over, and as ever, once at the Ring, it was fantastic.

Just needs a good clean now!

Both, certainly!

Seriously, the amount of salt they laid down on the track was amazing - at first when a dry line finally appeared, we all thought "great, time to put our foot down", only to find oneself snaking up the straight to Tiergarten slithering on a layer of salt!

Kind regards

Steve
