Walked out of Marylebone station on Sunday afternoon to be greeted by this awesome sight outside the Landmark hotel...

And here's a nice arty shot taken from the window of my room at the Travelodge just down the road...

Body kit and wheels are not an improvement IMO.

I must admit, I do prefer the standard car myself, but it was a shockingly good sight for someone who's never seen a 599 before. I also think the matt finish is very interesting. Not 'nice' as such, but bloody awesome in a gorgeously evil sort of way. From photos I always though the 599 looked a bit big and clumsy but when you actually see one it's surprisingly compact looking and very, very sexy. It's a lot curvier than photos manage to articulate, so much so that I could almost see some 308/328 in it. It's gone a long way to restoring my faith in Ferrari's stylists.

There was no plate on the front and the rear plate, which was yellow, appeared to be just numbers - no letters. I couldn't see whether is was LHD or RHD 'cause the windows were very tinted and I didn't want to get too close as there was someone inside and I didn't want to irritate them.

Dont understand how you can look at the ride height, look of the car and complain.. its not even a love it or hate it I dont think.. it just looks good.

And would you care about a parking ticket if you could afford that car? I know I would risk it over driving to an ncp or whatever if I was minted

I like it. I've never been into the 'matt look' but I think that 599 looks really cool, it's the sort of car Batman should be getting out of!

As long as you dont mind your rims getting wrecked when the car gets clamped - yes

I think the car looks great

I'm pretty sure it isn't a wrap. It's a custom paint job.

This matt paint "thing" is becoming popular now.....but apparently it's hard to maintain in good condition.

That is simply awesome!

What is the cost of the 'Hamann Touch'?

I don't detest the extra body work, but the price would have to be limited...

I really like it, apart from the sills which seem to be at odds with the rest of it.

Whats this whole foil wrap thing? anyone got a link to explain?

Illegal tints, no front plate and on double yellows? sounds like a traffic wardens wet dream.
