Ever wondered why you should take the hit on your nice new shiny car.

I have just purchased a Ferrari F430 Spider F1 for £158,000 and have managed to save £11,850 off list price. If I had gone into a dealer they would have just laughed at me when confronted with a question involving discount.
Also my man has got me a finance agreement where I have spread the costs over 48 months with a good residual keeping my payments down and even if the value of the car drops I can hand it back to the finance company after just over two years. I am now looking to purchase a Lamborghini for my finance director. Thanks Matthew for your help and look forward to concluding the deal on the Lamborghini.

Not done very well there Frank.

The classifieds are awash with very low mileage high spec 430's for far, far less then you paid. Frankly I cant believe that anyone would buy a new 430 unless they had to have a very unusual spec.

Where are you in Cardiff out of interest?

I think you'll find it very hard to aquire a 08 plate with any discount. Yes Matthew is my broker who I've used for years to supply me with my cars. I find it easier to get on with my business which earns me the money to pay for it and let him do the leg work and deliver the car to me hassle free. But I never knew he had his hands up little teddys for kicks.

So you can just go in and say, "Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be... An 08 F430 Spider driver!"

Sorry, kind of stole that gag from LittleBro

You are certainly right about receiving discounts by using brokers.......However this isnt something that would be open to a cash buyer from my experience. These discounts are generally front ended by the finance houses (Lombard etc) and then more than made up for with their exorbitant rates of interest (Network vehicles 22% apr) that you are tied into if you want the 'discount' and a 'hassle free' delivery.

Sounds like Matthew might like his hands up a few backs smile

Someone has to drive it, and I'm not letting the missis anywhere near it.
He put it with Lombard.
I do a lot of business and understand rates and he did a very competitive rate.
Looking at a Lambo with him now, he's offered me a pre registered no mileage Gallardo Spider today with £17,000 off list
