For those that are intrested I took a 430 Scud to Silverstone yesterday. Pulled 165 down Hanger st.(in the wet)

Not much faster in dry could not get a clean line in. Saw 170 once.

997tt max on same part of track 150 in dry.Gear box and brakes brilliant. Pulled up for noise....106DB on full attack mode.

nice to see a car being used for what its built for as most stradle owners just drive round on the roads pretendig to be racing drivers with there stripes on there cars

No prob with the rubber, Perfect all day.The car carries so much speed round bends. It took a while to acclimatise my style of driving. Used to be slow in fast out.

In the scud, what used to be exit speed in a 997tt or 430 standard car is now you entry speed plus a further 10-15%.

The gear box is just bang, bang, bang,Due to setting the magneto in the low grip mode (bad rain)I was not able to engage super fast 2 mode on the gear box.

Still hit 165 down hanger st many times in this mode.On a dry day with a good run 175 plus should be on the cards.

No.

I have been offered a C16. Trying to find a UK car. I might switch to GT3RS if i can not find a car.The C16 was 15k over list.

Drove a LHD GT2 a few weeks back in Europe. Still a hand full. The Scud feels faster through the gears. Prob down to the Box.

One thing for sure, the scud takes a lot more speed into the bends.

Way back in November I remember FerrariUK saying they were going to find a way to solve the track noise problem - I presume this meant a software/hardware option.

What happened to this?

Simple they made it louder.....my friend was in his GT3RS 50 yards behind me.

He said he could hear my car on the down shifts even above his own engine note and through his skid lid........
