Awesome spotted yesterday, on the A3 northbound.
Out testing a Cayenne Turbo S, telling my tech that I'd seen this stunning F1 in the morning coming out of London, when what should blast past us but the very same car, sounding like fury itself, with a very cool looking guy, wearing ear plugs, obviously just enjoying the fact that he was causing chaos all around him, and driving one of the greats.

If someone pms me with their email, I'll forward the photos to you to host, as I am thick and don't know how to do it.

Cheers,

Ruttboy.

Ruttboy - awesome spotted!! Great to see it out and about on public roads! I bet you nearly fell off your seat when you saw that coming up behind you!
How was the Turbo S? What did you think of it?
You're a luucky chap to see such a special motor - good pics too.

Thanks for sharing

It's a real deal converted GTR race car I believe - though I don't know the actual history of that particular chassis.

Our own Mr Bridger also has an ex Fina BMW converted GTR race car IIRC...

Sad fact is most people probably have absolutely no idea what they just witnessed driving down the road.

I'd love to know whether it is the ex DPR 006R car or another. What number's Mr Bridger's? It's not the ex Ray Bellm car is it?

I believe it is, though there are others who no doubt know more than me.

Didn't want to give too much away, so thanks for filling in. You always appear on here remarkably quickly once your name is mentioned, do you have warning system or something?

I see the Enzo is for sale elsewhere now, I think you should keep it!

To answer some of the above posts, yes, I got excited as a school boy when I saw it coming up behind me, as did my passenger who took the pictures.

And as for how the Cayenne was, I like them, find the Turbo S stupidly fast, and thought that it made the ideal camera car!

Cheers,

Ruttboy.
