Chaps, been to a couple of European dealers looking at (maybe to buy) a LHD F430.

Does 2007 car (standard brakes)with 600 Km @ 172000 Euros sound about right?

Also been into 2 now, One here in Luxembourg and one across the border in Germany, and both dealers show cars with front PU/Bonnets absolutely chipped/pitted/dodgy!! (would get laughed out of a Porsche dealership)

Is this a common practice in Europe? Do they paint/restore them on the point of sale?? Was absolutely gobsmacked at the paint conditions....

I know a guy who owned a 430 from new and sold it when it was 1500 miles old and the front PU looked like somebody had sandblasted it!!Ferrari paintwork aint the best...

It's quite uncommon here to repaint cars as often as in the UK...
if they're at a dealer's, they'll probably get fixed up before sale though smile
